Mark 3:15

And to have power to heal sicknesses, 

and to cast out devils:

power to heal sickness

(corrupt versions omit 

this part)

Mark 7:16

If

 

any man have ears to hear, let him 

hear.

Corrupt versions usually 

omit this verse entirely

Luke 7:28

For I say unto you, Among those that 

are born of women there is not a greater

prophet than John the Baptist: but he 

that is least in the kingdom of God is 

greater than he.

Corrupt versions usually 

omit John the Baptists 

role of “prophet” and 

often his full title as well.

Luke 9:55

But he turned, and rebuked them, and 

said, 

Ye know not what manner of spirit

ye are of.

Most corrupt versions 

omit “Ye know not what

manner of spirit ye are

Luke 9:56

For the Son of man is not come to 

destroy men's lives, but to save them

And they went to another village.

omit the first half of this 

verse “For the Son of

Luke 22:14

And when the hour was come, he sat 

down, and the twelve apostles with him.

the twelve apostles”.  

Many corrupt versions 

don't give the number of 

apostles that were 

present.
